I have an opportunity to get a large order for wine stoppers so I needed to make some to show to the customer next week. If I decide to do it and they agree on price the order would be somewhere between 40 and 50 of these and they would be corporate Christmas gifts so they would need to be done in the next couple weeks. I would hate to use up too many of my good pudding stone slabs but its the material I have the most of at the moment. I kept real good track of time to figure out my price and I was right at 1.5 hours from slabs to finished product for these 5 today I had one stopper break while at the trim saw so I salvage it into this 30x40 teardrop cab This 13x18 oval is flint from flint ridge in Ohio And here is a set of tuledad canyon agate cabs. This is the material from the "world rock tumbling competion" earlier this year. They sent everyone who entered a slab of the material to cab and now we get to send them back one cab to be judged for best freeform cabochon. A couple of these are fractured but I only had the small slab they sent to choose from. Thanks for looking Chuck

Great use for cabs and great looking puddingstone Chuck. Much different than our Texas material. If I might ask, where do your get your stopper blanks. Lots of wine fanciers around here and I might want to try to make a couple for buddies...Mel

I really like these. What a great idea for something different at a show. When you order, how many do you order at a time. I have family that like wine and think this would be a great gift for Christmas. Thanks, Deb

Great job on the wine stoppers & at first glance I thought the cabs were tiger eye, very nice!
