Just finished sorting through the rough I bought at auction Sunday. Took pix of most of it, the rest will have to wait another day. Supposed to be packing for our trip right now, so I better hurry before the boss gets home I had the winning bid on this lot.. $40 plus 15% 'buyers premium'. I think I scored pretty good! In no particular order Corals Palm Kinda stumped.. either very cellular wood or some kinda bone rough side Rocky Butte cut side with part of its mate Sodalite Another stumper, plumes with salmon streaks other cut face.. anyone know what this is? Nice plumes here.. maybe West Texas? Stumped again but love it.. anyone know? Lace chunks Sagenites Flame Agates Uncut agate nodules Some yummies Royal Aztec Rutile A nice shade of jade Some small Rhrodo chunks, a windowed fa and a couple small opals.. could not capture the fire And some slabs that will have to wait 'till later Hope you all enjoyed the pix! Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Holly Molly that was one hell of a deal. I would have to name them all as my favorites.
Nice send off for a trip. If the trip goes to crap you will have something really good to look forward to. I hope that does not happen and you have a great trip. Be safe Jim

Congrats beef, you've done it again!
I agree with the West Texas ID, but that's as close as I can get. The one after it looks kind of like a West Texas rock, too.

Nice haul. Second one looks like a Petoskey stone. If you have not worked with it before, jugglerguy and drummond island rocks can give you some pointers. It is a softer rock (3 -5) and can be difficult to polish.

Thanks guys! Sitting here in a motel in west Hollywood on Christa's Kindle while she gets ready for a concert we're taking in tonight. First time ever posting on this hope it works! Tomorrow we're heading to Carlsbad for the next few days. Her birthday is tomorrow and she wants to be at the beach so at the beach is where we will be. Crazy holiday traffic getting here today.. 6 hour drive. Unwinding with a couple barley pops
