Yeah I would want a better clamp than that also. The rest looks great though.

C-clamp = jury rig. LOL. That looks like operator's mod.
I suppose the silver knob on the left with long stop linkage shaft(rags hanging on) is the limit stop on the cut. And this must be a chop saw? And the stop linkage runs to the back in senses the end of the chop travel at the back.
Looks like rubber bellows on the back wall to allow sealed movement of chop arm.
Looks like a sealed box for the swing arm.
Looks like a belt tensioner on top of the sealed swing arm to adjust belt tension on a (dry) v-belt ?
Why is there two high speed counterbalanced hand cranks left and right ? That has me buffaloed for sure. buffalo stew
Looks like a cabinet below. For elf.
