I had an extra day off yesterday, so I decided to do a complicated one. This is a Yellow tiger eye cab wrapped in Bronze wire with red tiger eye beads. Too complicated? I like it. Amy

My opinion of complicated (or not) in unimportant. What is important is the clearly excellent execution. You definitely have a well defined sense of style and form. The execution of your vision is without a doubt precise. Great work.

Amy that looks awesome!! With this style wrap, I think it's all about balance and you certainly have it. Everything works together perfectly.

Thanks everyone, I took a photo of the back just to confuse you more. lol Something like this usually takes me about 6 hours. I usually work on it 2 hours at a time as my eyes start to go a little wonky on me. I use reading glasses and a magnifying lamp when I wrap. Amy

Now that I look at the back photo, it reminds me of the Los Angeles freeway system. Lol

Wow, that is definitely a work of art. I also like the way you balanced the piece. Great job.

Wow. I looked at the back of that thing and walked over to the trash can and dropped in my pliers. I may take up finger painting..

Thanks everyone. I sold this wrap the other day, for $95.00. Everyone at my rock club said I sold it too cheap. What do you think? Keep in mind that it is bronze wire not silver and she bought 5 wraps total as well as 3 in May. The other wraps ranged from $55 to $75. Pricing is hard for me. What do you think?

Pricing really is hard. I think I charge a lot and then I get messages saying I am too cheap. I, personally, would go as high as 125 on this, but I think 95 is still a fair price for bronze and tiger eye. Your work is top notch, so don't be afraid to go with your gut when you are thinking of higher prices. I've seen people charge a whole lot more for much less work. Try to come up with an hourly rate that you think is fair and then use it to figure costs, then add in your material with some mark up. You can't always make up your labor on really labor intense pieces, but you can try to come close.

I agree with Tela. $95 is a good price but you could easily have gone higher. On a gorgous piece like this - they are paying for the artistry as much as the medium
