They loose their color tumbled. they would be better with their edges ground and polished. THinking the natural coatings are pretty and varied and would be best left alone on many of them.

I thought that might be fire agate, too. Thanks for clearing that up. They are all beautiful!

nice. The clear amber one looks like a jasper. Pretty cool. That white one is a show off.
My sugar just spiked looking at these. No joke.

jamesp He is back in real shoes, but still cannot take walks until late January. Just to keep in the style, I dropped an ~8 pound rock on my foot. Didn't break. We are both back in normal shoes and no canes. Yes, the rock is fine

You guys are tougher than....yep...you guessed it, a ten cent steak. Glad he is improving. Sorry you dropped a rock on your foot. I have a feeling you can resist a great deal. What kind of rock was it?

Well now, that is some fine flickers of amber flames in those. I really like the light diffusion one sees in botryoidal agate. Shine on.

Yep, the first two look absolutely like Fire Agate I'm seeing recently, and have a play of light that is better than some actual FA that is sometimes offered on fleaBay.
