I actually have a couple of favorites, but to choose one... Silent Night. In a world that suffers greatly at our own hand, there is something in each of us, a bond all too often unseen, yet rises in unexpected tides to lift us from the darkness.
In 1863, nearly fifty years after being first sung in German (Oberndorf, Austria) , "Silent Night" was translated into English. Today the words of "Silent Night" are sung in more than 300 different languages around the world. I defer to the original, beautifully sung by Nana Mouskouri

I just heard one this morning on the way to work but don't know the name. A little girl was singing and telling Santa what a bad boy her brother was that year and that Santa should bring him a box of rocks. If that's the case then I've been a really bad boy.... bring me some rocks !
