I used the tutorial on the forum and made my first (and probably only) bracelet. I had wanted to do that tutorial since it was put on the board but never got the "want-to" to try it until now. It was really hard for me and didn't turn out that well but I did it and will wear it. The clasp is different than the tutorial plus it is off-center because I didn't make it the right size and had to improvise but otherwise it looks ok enough not to scrap. I haven't wrapped in a while so that made it a little harder. The stone is a Montana Agate cab backed with mylar to make the colors show better. I bought it from a guy in eastern MT when I was there working this summer.

I think this came out great!!! The cab looks fantastic in this setting. I haven't made one myself in soooooo long. I'm sure yours is way better than mine would be.

I think you did a great job on the bracelet! I sometimes offset the hook on purpose so it doesn't dig into the inside of my wrist when I wear it

Thanks all. I doubt that Tela I think everything you do comes out fantastic ;-) Karen, thanks for the idea about how to explain the off center clasp...now that's my story and I'm sticking to it...lol.

The bracelet sets off the stone perfectly. Simple elegance.

Thank you all for the compliments, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy not to mention that I don't feel like I screwed it up totally. Sure Sheri if you ever find time to sit down...lol.

Incredible work Diane!! I struggle hard enough with wrapping simple pendants, can't imagine trying something of that magnitude. Neat idea backing the cab with mylar. Terrific!!
