OK I have a question that some of you might have an answer to.. I am looking for pyritized ammonite - specificially already sliced, with one piece large enough for a pendant and two smaller pieces of equal size for earrings. Do you know of a good reputable supplier I might be able to purchase these from? I've been hunting around online and found a few places that have something close to what I am looking for, however since I haven't done business with them, I'm hesitant to drop any cash till I know a source can be trusted. Thanks.

I was at the Flagg Rock and Mineral show at Mesa Community College yesterday. I found pyritized ammonite that had been cut into some rather interesting forms and cabs, but it wasn't the sliced in half ammonites I'm looking for.

That's a beauty Fossilman. Enchantra: ZRS Fossils and Gifts is a local business that has a really nice selection of quality stuff. They're a reputable company that also leads international trips. I don't know if they have exactly what you're looking for. www.zrsfossils.com/Chuck
