Anybody ever use a Spartan saw? Looks like it is gravity fed where the vise and rock swings inward toward the blade. I meant to post this in the slabs section. Is thee any way to move or delete the thread?

No experience here. However, its interesting in that the pressure against the blade would be greatest for the largest(heaviest) rock with gravity being the determining factor. Ideally you would want the pressure to be greatest for a thin or small stone (cut fast), and lighter for a big (wide) stone (cut slowly). Or am I overthinking friction and saw performance? I like it; no pulleys, cables, gear drives, or parts to wear. Tom
