This is another piece of the seam agate we found on the N.Cady's trip. This is a look at the rough - we busted this out of a 1" to 1.5" wide seam - lot of work for just a handful of pieces. Here's a look at the finished cab/wrap. My honey claimed this one for Christmas before I was done photographing it :-)

Nice Tommy! Can you share a photo of the other sides? I'll try Roger...the missus texted me a while ago saying she was taking her new pendant for a walk (and oh yeah, the dog was coming too). Some times its not easy to get them back haha.

Wow, very nice! Thank you for the photo. I am going to give that style a shot later tonight Sweet! If I could offer any guidance at all it would be that I have found that square wire seems to produce the strongest prongs and if you choose your locations carefully - flattest surface girdle edge, farthest reach from the center point - they produce a very secure setting. I've done about 10 of these and I haven't lost a stone yet heehee. I think I've done a different bail style on every one - this one was an instant favorite - I don't know if you can see it but I formed the bail from the back towards the front then tucked the two ends down behind the stone before wrapping the bail. The tucked wires matched the height of the back wrap almost perfectly (they are both 21g wire) and the whole thing sits nice and securely flat to the back of the stone. Let us know how it turns out.

I spent a while wrapping yesterday and tried the prong wrap. The wraps on the left side are the prongs. The cabs are too big in my opinion for a traditional wrap. The prong wrap works great on them, and the square wire is much easier. Thanks for the photos Tommy!

Thanks Rich!
Tommy. I have been on a wrapping binge lately. I make 4 to 5 a day and I am finally seeing progress. I just wish I didn't have such a heavy touch lol

I just wish I didn't have such a heavy touch lol You and me both brother. With my hands sometimes I marvel that I can do much more than blow my nose with them.
