That's so good to hear, snuffy! Looks like he found himself a great new home. RRs are very smart, the only downside I see to them is they are prone to getting cold, since they have no undercoat, and only short fur, need a sweater when it gets cold. Is Buddy "fixed" or intact? ~~Unfixed~~ Unaltered males tend to roam more, but I'm willing to bet someone dumped him when they could no longer afford to feed him. He did look a little hungry.

Good thing you live out in the wide open spaces of Texas. Bigger dog, more food = more to pick up, lol. My mom has a Brazilian Fila, 140 lbs., also an 80 lb. pitbull. That's a lot to pick up after...

He's intact Jean.Dont have to pick anything up after him and my Boxer.They go out in the pasture and mark their territory way out there!He stays in the house when its cold.

Lucky you! Just one of the perks of living out of the city. In that way, I'm glad I am down to just one dog.
