These are a few of my recent wraps. I decided to wrap 100 of my finished cabs before I make any more. I have too many cabs sitting around and it is either toss them into the pond or learn to wrap them and maybe sell a few, if I get decent enough at it. I am mostly working with 20ga copper and colored copper and 22ga bindings right now. I have been buying "Zebra Wire" lately, which seems to work easier for me, though I plan to start buying some sterling wire soon.
The infamous "Idontknowit 1".. This is in some of the Beadalon wire. I really don't like working with it, I think it is too hard.
Crazy Lace in 20ga silver colored copper.
Noreena Jasper from a slab Randy sent me several months ago.
Dinosaur Bone in 22ga copper.
Cobalto Calcite. I was trying a new wire style and clearly need to rework the stone position a bit more lol, but I do like the look.
Unknown Agate. Still trying the style used in the calcite wrap.
Tiger Tail. A variation on the calcite wrap from above. I need to slide the bail over a hair more but I thought this one was pretty good.

Tommy posted a prong wrap in another post and I stole his style (thanks Tommy!) to try out. I really like the prong mount because it is both faster to make than a traditional full wrap, and you can make a lot of them to have on standby for future cabs. These are a few I made.

The first is probably my favorite. I hated the wire but the finished wrap was clean and balanced. The prong settings I like for some of my large or odd shaped stones. I will never get as good as some of you with wire and doubt I would be able to produce a real wrap to balance out the stone. Some of you are true artists with wire
