is that a coconut geode? It's a huge one if it is. Almost 8" with the rind removed. I like this image

Very cool, I am impressed with peoples "artistic flair" or natural ability to make something great from just looking at something. Its really quite a talent and one that I don't have. I am much more likely to copy or get an idea from something I see than actually see the item in my mind. I guess I am right brained or left brained LOL, whatever it is that is the science and math side of the grey matter:)

How the heck do they make those stone carvings? There's a horse head on that rikko site that costs $1500. That seems very cheap if it was made by hand. I struggle to make a heart. Ovals are a challenge. How does one make a realistic horse head? Here's a place that sells skulls made of various rocks. It's small and not as nice as the original skull in this thread, but must be machine produced to sell for under $50. I also wonder how eggs are made. Not the ones that come out of chickens, but stone eggs. There must be some sort of machine that turns them out, but I can't figure out how.

Rob, the eggs are made out by machine which can fix the egg's shape. Hope this message is useful to you

Hi lzcrystal. Welcome to the forum. I just looked at your site. Are all of the sculptures made by machine, or are they done by hand? Cool stuff either way. Do you have pictures of how they egg machine works?
