All your rocks and your daughter Emma is making ear rings out of glass beads? You'll have to invest in some diamond drills and "eyes" to lure her into the rock world with some drilled tiny tumbles. LOL

Yeah I've had such poor success for such little reward on drilling beads that I think I will leave that to the Hobby Lobby set (which is where I got all these) - we had fun, that was the main thing.

John It is pretty smart to have her help do some ...She knows what she likes and it is almost a guarantee that her age group will like it too..LOL..Nice job on them all...Ya'll make a good team!!!...John
Also if you go to a bead show you can get agate beads to go crazy with....

@shotgunner if you are noticing my fingertips that is from my guitar, it never goes away... but I am also in a high desert and my hands are *always* dry.

Great job you two!  I do so much shaping, filing, sanding and polishing that my fingers will even crack and bleed. The only thing I found that works is Neutrogena Norwegian Formula hand cream. When it gets really bad, I use the lotion and then wear finger cots to bed |
