I got these four cabs from about a 6 oz piece of Labradorite I found in one of my boxes. Don't have a clue where it came from. I only got these 4 nickel sized cabs from the works of it. It was crumbly and really fell apart. The last cab is from some tumble material I bought about 2 years ago, its actually super nice and might make a nice ring, its about the size of a smaller fingernail. The reason I like these cabs is that you can really see into them, see depth into the feldspar crystals, see what almost looks like rutiles. I tried to capture this with my Nikon set to f32 but still does the cabs no favors. Again I like the first four not because of flash but its like looking into a world through a window:) (you really need to hold them in your own hands) Please forgive my spelling of Labradorescence I was lazy and did not look up the correct spelling. Thanks for looking! This one has zero labradorescence but I like it: ONE The next 3 cabs have some labradorescense in them, I did not capture it well at all. But still not very good grade rocks. TWO THREE FOUR (this one is the best of the 4 as far as labradorescence goes. FIVE (This is the small one that is actually pretty decent material, it labrado'ess from edge to edge although I did a poor job with the camera.

Looks like you have some good flash and even the ones without seem to have a fantastic texture and pattern to them. Great job! Fran

I love the more 'rough' look within the stones... gives them a lot of natural character.
