We., 01/08/14 @ approx. 09:49a.m. E.S.T. (T.U.S.O.A.)
Folks,
I've stumbled across the "Dirty Rockhounds" home website which is a forum that appears to be a simplified version of T.R.T.H. forum. The two forums are practically identical, and the sign-in pages are exactly alike. Are they operated by the same folks/outfit?
Dirty Rockhounds home website (forum): >http://dirtyrockhounds.proboards.com/<.
There does not appear to be a related "Dirty Rockhounds" home website as one would expect to find at >http://DirtyRockhounds.com<. There is a site at that address, but it has nothing to do with rocks ;-) !

I think they just use the same forum hosting software, proboards.

I just deleted the shortcut to that site this morning. There is never any action there so I don't bother to go there.

Dirty Rockhounds is the forum for the Mountain Area Gem and Mineral Association (MAGMA) club based in the southeast - North Carolina, I think, though members are from a lot of states. I've gone up for a few digs with them for amethyst and smoky quartz. I was a member for a few years but have lapsed. Rick
