I finished up a set of small pudding stone cabs yesterday and really wanted to try wrapping the smaller stuff so I went for it today. I could not decide which direction to do the arrow shapes so I did one each way and now I like them both so that didn't help, lol. The other large cab is something I cabbed a long time ago and do not remember what it is so if anyone can help there that would be great. Here's the set in raw copper This is what the copper looks like coming out of the liver of sulfur And here's the finish wraps. (Sorry about the few loose strands of steel wool, I had not blown these off yet with the air compressor) Anyone know what this material is? maybe a picture jasper? Thanks for looking Chuck

Those look really nice. I'm not sure on the id but it does look like some sort of picture jasper or some type of rhyolite.

Those are very nice. Thanks for showing the before/after photos of the LofS, that is very helpful.

Those are nice, I like the arrangement of the puddingstones with the dark spots in the center.
Like Rich said, thanks for showing the before/after on the patina as well.
Very cool!

The one time I tried to patina it came out so dark - I never tried it again. Now I realize I just didn't rub off enough! Yours look fantastic

I vote rhyolite, too. Your cabs look really great centered like that and your little wraps came out great, too. Good idea posting the before and after steel wool. It's a real shock the first time you see it go black. I know I freaked out a little.
