Wow! Some good eatin' tonight! Calimari on steroids!
I don't think I'd put a lot of trust in a "news" source with that name. On the other hand I "refrain from visiting Santa Monica" every chance I get!

They mentioned that the effect would be beneficial-giant tuna that could feed a whole city. What if it were true. Ha-60 foot tuna. Who is gonna hook into a 60 MPH fish that is 60 feet long. Outrageous

James, if you have any doubt about Photoshopping on the squid, read this one: www.lightlybraisedturnip.com/nsa-screen-emails-hate-speech/It's actually pretty good satire -- close enough to the truth to be "almost" believable, with some very funny observations along the way. Oh yes, they found a giant Oarfish washed up near Santa Monica too. Since that's basically in my back yard those two "finds" should be all over local TV, not to mention national. Of course they're not.

Well, first off, that is not Santa Monica. Look at the beach and rocks. Then look at the people closely.
Also the squid would collapse under its own weight at that size without the support of water.

Gemfellar and foxtail-great points-the media obviously made fools of those that would believe such. Glad i posted this. I was 99.999 sure that it was bull.

Go get the dynamite and blow it up, haven't had a show like that would provide for several years.

Larry wants to blow it up w/dynamite. Let's tie the media idiots to the squid before they lite the fuse. At least it is totally unbelievable.
BS for sure Fossilman. For sure.

That is for sure not a giant squid lol, Is it even a real squid pic at all? Or maybe an...artist's interpretation? If it was real, the Gyotaku people would go crazy...they could make an imprint the size of a decent sized building
