I had a request from a friend at work for a couple wire wraps for his 9 and 11 year old daughters. He let them both shop my etsy store to pick out what type of stone they wanted and then I custom cut a couple small cabochons and wrapped them up for them. I really didn't think I would like the petoskey done in copper but that was the request so I went with it. After dipping it in the liver of sulfur I really liked the contrast of the blackened wire and grey stone so I took a picture and sent it to them and they agreed to leave it black since its going on a black rubber cord. These are only about 1.5" long overall heres a quick before shot of the petoskey cab too Thanks for looking, Chuck

I like the black wire too Thanks, I still prefer Petoskey to be wrapped is silver but for a kid wearing it on a rubber cord the black is going to work great. Chuck

Black wire on white, then silver on black, the contrast on both really makes them pop.

Really striking. I agree with the contrast really making both wire and stone patterns pop.
