I've been to Mexico a number of times and haven't had problems, but I am also fascinated with Costa Rica, everyone who I've talked with who's gone there has loved it.

Froze my arse off here today. Donnie's territory down in the Florida keys is looking better all the time. If only they had lots of horses and places to ride and my wife wasn't a native Floridian. She don't much like Florida like I don't much like Commiefornia....Mel

No snow in Carrollton, GA. It went south of us here near Atlanta ! Classmate lives in Pensacola and they had snow yesterday and into the night. I would love to see a good snow ! Just plain cold here especially with the wind. Too "ole" to take the cold now !

Beefjello: As I like to remind my folks who live near Rochester NY, "You can't shovel sunshine!"
I'll take my sunshine and scattered clouds any day over the snow and freezing cold. My folks said it got up to a whole whopping 6F today where they are. I don't miss it!

The plane landed in Panama in 1960 at 3am. I walked 30 feet and got back in the plane. Too hot for me!
I tried to talk the wife into moving to Costa Rica, but she refuses to learn Spanish. I tried to tell her there are plenty of people that speak English there. No deal. My shop has been at 40 degrees all winter. Sigh. Think of all the extra money we could have saved.
