Who has the lowest prices on Silver Filled, .925 and .999 wire for Wire Wrapping?

I'm not sure of the lowest prices... I always go with Rio because they have a great assortment, great customer service and great quality.
I've never heard of any one wrapping with fine silver.

Prices are tied to spot and fluctuate on a daily basis. When I first started, I obsessed over finding the best Silver price, but found it rarely differed more than 25 cents or so. Now I have two suppliers I deal with exclusively and Rio is on my dead last choice list. I found in the past that quality of various supplies fluctuated from one order to the next, so I suspect they purchase from whichever supplier is the cheapest at any given time. Good business model for them, but lousy for the end consumer

Now I have two suppliers I deal with exclusively and Rio is on my dead last choice list. Could you share who you use/trust best? I've been tempted to order some items from Rio but haven't done it yet since I wasn't fully ready to dive in to that side of things. |

I use Santa Fe Jewelers Supply for most of my items, but also use Monster Slayer for certain things SFJS doesn't carry. In over 10 years of ordering from these two, I have only had one disappointment. One time I specifically requested USPS Priority mail and my order was shipped via the Brown truck. It takes me on average 4 days longer to get UPS ground than it does Priority Mail and I needed the order quickly. In their defense, a new guy took my order and UPS was a few dollars cheaper shipping on this particular large order, so he thought he was doing me a favor. They refunded my shipping on that order without me asking. Customer service at SFJS is top notch! |

Everyone's experience is different. Not to argue- but I have only had one problem with Rio since 1998 and that was with Argentium wire when it first hit the market. I recently ordered from Monsterslayer and from Ottofrei and was quite impressed with both, but especially with Monsterslayer. radio Yeah, UPS always takes longer for me, too. I always pay a few dollars more for USPS priority. I have had dozens of problems, some quite expensive, with UPS- not so with USPS. |

I get all my wire from Rio and not had any problems. I don't buy on a large scale so never really considered buying from someone else. May have to check into it when I get around to buying some more wire.
