it has been a interesting 2014 so far to say the least ! had to put my old black lab down after 14 years that wasnt a easy thing to do !! and on the 14th my boss/Friend of 30 years went to the hospital for a MRI found a mass on his brain stem so he had surgery on the 16th wich caused me to cancel my flight to arizona and chance to hang out with Tony and all of you that went for 10 days and now the full picture with my boss most agresive cancer out there ! i think i have just had my whole life rearanged in a few weeks time . so on saterday instead of enjoying the RTH BBQ I went and picked up some saws to work on! this one is a 24" saw really cool and simple design this saw is a 16/18 also built very well it has a bladewell in the bottom and a light inside will be getting these ready for up comming show we have here in april i will post the picture when there done

Roy, sorry to hear about your dog (we all love our dogs!)and also your boss. Too bad that you had to cancel your plans. I was really looking forward to meeting you at Quartzsite, had some avocados with your name on them...
Looks like ya got some cool projects lined up.

really sorry to hear about your 2 friends... I remember putting my first dog down... broke my heart but his hip displacia (sp) was so bad h couldn't get up to go out for bathroom runs. As for your other friend my prayers go out to you both!!
That 16/18 w/ blade well has me wondering... 1) how fast will the well fill with gunk?, 2) How hard is it to clean or does it have a drain in the well area?
ps.... if you come across any 10-14 inch saws in need of work, and don't need them yourself, let me know.. looking for a second saw myself, either a 10 inch slab/trim or a 14 slab saw. thanx and good luck... with all of it!!

Condolences for your losses. Life can be harsh. I mourn all my lost friends but treasure the good times and happy memories. Looks like you've staked a claim on the "Saw Mine." Wish I had room for something that big. Rick
