A local rock club was selling some rough and equipment from a retired member. I saw a bunch of quartz crystal points, rose quartz, jade, petrified wood, slabs of all sorts. They also had a 24" saw for $1500 , a poly arbor for $120, Richardson high speed sanders for $150, a vibrating flat polisher for $150. What caught my eye was a large container of Tiger's eye rough. I dug through it and got a nice thick piece which should make roughly a 1.75" sphere. Can't wait to cut it.

I'd like to see what would become that red/brownish spot on the sphere's surface. Adrian

dandresow: Thanks. Haven't done anything with rocks for years. Just fixed an older HP 18 inch and dug out a 10 inch and 18in Lortone and I have a couple of trim saws and need to make something to cab with. We stay broke and I only have enough to put oil in 1 Dec 1, 2024 16:49:20 GMT -5 *
