I have been going to sleep early Snuffy. First week of getting the plant business going.
Hibernation got the best of me.
When are you going to crank up the matar plants?

I have been going to sleep early Snuffy. First week of getting the plant business going. Hibernation got the best of me. When are you going to crank up the matar plants? As soon as Lowes and Home Depot get the 6-packs of them in.They always sucker in gardeners with individual larger plants for 3 or 4 bucks each at first.A couple weeks later the 6 packs come. Those 2 stores are the only sure places I can get the varieties I want.Small nurseries I gave up on,never know what you gettin'.Stick a popular tag on any cheap seed they have on hand.Believe me,forty years of this ,hard to pull the wool over my eyes on the maters! snuffy

Oh.. I understand. In my area we just plant them in the ground. They know when to come up. But I dont have a real garden. Never made a real one like we should. Love seeing yours!

Purdy indeed! I gotta get some flower pix up, everything thinks it's spring already here. Seems we skipped winter altogether this year!
