I've only done one other wrap besides these. I'm having trouble with the bends. Is there a tool that helps smooth out the kinks? Or a trick to making the bends? Any tips would be appreciated. Front: Back:

Those look great. There is a tutorial on here for how to do swirls if that helps. Also you get better the more you do. Kinks are hard to get out especially if you nick the wire with your tools. You can try to use a burnishing tool or a small jewelers file to soften the nicks or try tumbling the pieces to see if that helps. Keep wrapping.

I think they look great, too. You already got some great advice, I would just add that being new- you might want to put some tape on your pliers, that'll help. Also make sure the pliers edges are smoothed out with an emory board.

They look beautiful. Did you make the cabs too, on your flat lap? If so, you're a natural.

Thanks for the compliments.
Diane- I will try your ideas on the nicks...I do have a few. :/
rockjunquie- The tape on the pliers sounds like it would really help me.
Rich- I did not make the cabs, I should have mentioned that in the original post. I am working on some though. I traced my shapes on some slabs, cut them out and used the grinder to trim them up. So now I have a bunch of ovals on dop sticks, hopefully I will be able to work on the flat lap later today.
