Has anyone else noticed how flat an agate looks when it is wire wrapped and laying on your chest. So I was thinking that there must be a solution and this is what I came up with. I decided that I would extend the wraps at the bottom and along the sides of the wrap, I checked out my scrap wire and found some small pieces wire and then folded them over so that they where sturdy. When I was finished and put it on, it was totally different then any other agate I have ever wrapped. Ok, so my photo would not load, I will add photos in a hour or so. OK, here are the photos of the extensions that I added to the wrap wires. Front Back New wraps Tigers Eye in Gold Unknown, maybe Crazy Lace? Another unknown Tiger Iron Bruno in Gold Agate Jasper Agate/Jasper Hope you enjoyed the show, Tammy

Great wraps!!
At first I couldn't understand what you were talking about with the agate, but the pictures made sense. Does it let in much light, do you think? Is it comfortable to wear?

Nice set. Is that the equivalent of making a step bezel in wire wrapping?

Great wraps!! At first I couldn't understand what you were talking about with the agate, but the pictures made sense. Does it let in much light, do you think? Is it comfortable to wear? Tela, I was surprized at how much light it did let in, I will wrap another piece of the same agate with out the extentions and then I will take photos of myself wearing them and see what the difference is. As far as comfort, they are just as comfortable to wear as any other pendant is to wear. I did straighten up the wraps and wires on the wrap with the extentions so it looks better then the original photo. As far as a step bezel goes, I guessit could be kind of like that, but I don't know anything about silver smithing. Thanks for looking, Tammy

Really nice pieces! I especially love the addition of the twisted wire.

I really like how the wire wrap lets the light in, nice work.
