A lady my wife works with is looking for a unique ring made of stone for her engagement. Anyone know a place where she might get one, or would anyone here be interested in making one - don't know if she wants one for her boyfriend too...

Jade rings are available, and tough, and "traditional."

If you want all stone rings, jade, nephrite, thulite (pink and green or black) and glaucophane are the only thing that will not fracture. I do make them and I have several variations of nephrite and pink with green thulite. If something like this is what you are looking for get in touch with me and I will post some pics. They are not really expensive and I just got re setup to make them.
