Fantastic job on all of them. The center right one looks like a shark tooth.

Fantastic job on all of them. The center right one looks like a shark tooth. Thanks vegasjames - that's what I thought too and it's why I wrapped it!

Those all look wonderful. Great job. I think your bails look great. We tend to be our own worst critics so don't be so hard on yourself and try to kick that perfectionism out the window. I struggle with that sometimes myself and it helps to get input from others on here to put things in perspective.

Very nice set, I especially like the oval & the round cab-wraps.

I know you're right but it's amazing how you can see your flaws once you take photos and post them! I haven't been at this very long but I love it and I will just continue to improve with practice. I appreciate your input. Lise

Great work for a newbie or even not so newbie. I love those clusters and they are not easy to do. Keep up the good work.

Wow those are great! I am also learning how to wrap. I like the rectangular one in the last row. The crystals are awesome, I've never seen them wrapped before. I like the way the copper wire looks on the second one. When you put the patina on the copper, did you dip the entire piece or brush it on? I just got some liver of sulphur and want to try it on my pieces.

I did have a few of the amethyst crystals fall apart on me as I was wrapping them so I learned how aggressive I could and could not be. As for the LOS, I had a small margerine container of warm water (maybe 2 cups of water?), to which I added my jewelry pieces. Then I added 1 teaspoon of the LOS, stirred it and kept the pieces in for about 30 seconds. I think that was too long because every piece went very black and almost flaky. Next time I think I would add the LOS to the water then dip the pieces in very quickly. But a quick buffing with fine steel wool removed much of the tarnish and left what you see. Adding patina is really fun!

I like the sharks tooth look alike. It looks like a tumble. That is interesting that you wrap random shapes.
