Tony told me that this is the most perfect cut he has made in lawsonite (jeeze I hope that is the correct name) and it is for sure the best I have ever seen even in photographs. It is not necessary to move the slab around to see the flash, just look straight into it and bammmm, there it is. Also, look at the dark blue lines through the flash. I had to buy a slab that I think he under priced. This is a wow times ten. Jim ![](http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h375/wampidy/slabs/P4150001.jpg) ![](http://i1106.photobucket.com/albums/h375/wampidy/slabs/P4150002.jpg) He is bagging everything for storage today so it may be too late to get some from him this year. I am not sure if he is taking any of it back to Idaho. Better call him quick if you want some.

Those are beautiful! I have heard that material called spectrolite or labradorite. Fantastic flash! Fran

Maybe it is labradorite. I am so so so bad with names. I have asked him twice and probably still got it wrong. Jim

Labradorite for certain. Lawsonite is an ugly brown color. This is the first lawsonite sphere ever made ![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/Xh4oaLQnVnE7vVAoTk8nO-Vc8_YX1wQstaB4zbbYtTA=s685-no)

That's a great slab Jim! Going to make some killer cabs, and a bargain too.

Gorgeous! It looks like Labradorite. With Labradorite, the color is in wide, thin veins. Spectrolite looks similar but the color goes all the way through. I think Spectrolite comes from Norway or maybe Finland. C-ya, Rick

Wow, it does look like he cut that perfectly. That flash is amazing especially if you don't have to move it around to enjoy it.

If that's the price you paid up top, I'm totally jealous. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) You'll be showing pictures of the cabs shortly... right??? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Not sure I am going to cab it because the whole thing flashes at the same time (except for the small top part). It looks better with a black back on it so maybe I will cut off the non flash part, back the rest with a black slab and frame it. Way to perfect to cut up. Jim

that black on top has some flash to it too... if you cut it off you could probably take a thin layer off it and expose more flash underneath and then you would have a cab piece ans a display piece!!
BTW... it is Labradorite, and it if you this it's pretty now... polish that sucker and you'll need sunglasses to look at it!!!
Fantastic Score Bro !!!! Mario
