beautiful looking slabs... worth every penny of the $8 you spent and then some!!!
If your saw gets real hot while cutting a jasper.... you might want to check your feed rate and maybe slow it down if possible. If it got hot towards the last slab... thats not unusual... making a lot of slabs will do that over time as the oil heats up and cannot pull as much heat away from the blade while it is spinning.

Between Lavic & Cady? Maybe someone dug it up under Route 66? Noticed there was more pot holes in the road after Tommy left!

I wouldn't exactly call this the "bargain bin" though...they are a little too high on stuff like this - asking $4.50/lb for the assorted jaspers and agates bin - and most of the stuff in it is crap - I just happened to find this gem (pun intended) and talked the price down because I was buying a lot of other stuff too.
