I just got mine in the mail, thanks for posting. The book has great photos and ID details. I really like the pictures and how they look in the paperback book. It's on thick stock paper that isn't very glossy. Workout the glare you can really see the details and colors of photos.
Thanks for posting, Matt

I already read mine weeks ago. Went through it again this past week along with its sister book.
Good books.

Got my copy today when I got back from San Antonio. Real nice addition to my library and I really like the California section especially. A flat out rookie mistake in the California poppy jasper though. Plainly Guadalupe Poppy listed as Hornitos in second pic. Other Hornitos rough pic either Guadalupe or Morgan Hill but no way it's Hornitos.
Got the new Daniels & Davault pet wood identification book in the same package. It's freaking awe...some!...Mel

My book should arrive tomorrow, and will have to thaw and brought to room temps before trying to open it.

I have been looking for a guide, but most are academic tomes that are waaayyy too complicated and bog one down (no pun intended). Anybody else have help, computer links, etc on Petwood ID? Thx.
