I wonder why the larsonite did not round more. Is it a hard stone? The green jasper is real nice. And the Rocky Butte.

Nice batch. I think I like he Gary green and the green jaspers the best. Then again, the flint and Brazilians are nice too.

Nice shiny batch. The flint ridge with all its variety is probably my favorite. It's remarkable to me how well the pudding stones turn out. Nice job!

Dang, but I am a still a sucker for the puddingstone. Probably because there's nothing like it around here. Everything looks great, a fine shine as always. Nice job, Chuck.

Right up there with the very hardest agates in my experience. There is soft GGreen from the sides of the mine site, but the best it REALLY hard and will take an incredible shine with enough patience.

Chuck, that puddingstone looks more frosted than your usual. Does it have more quartz crystals than usual? Great looking stuff, all.

Chuck, that puddingstone looks more frosted than your usual. Does it have more quartz crystals than usual? Great looking stuff, all. The quartz is not usually the problem. The quartz and jasper portions always do fine. There is something much softer in the matrix that eats away and leaves a slightly pitted texture. I slab and cab a good amount of it all year so I always have plenty of leftovers to tumble. Chuck
