Hi all, My back yard rock is going through some amazing transformations. It's been in 80 for almost 2 weeks and I'm starting to see some great things. It appears that most of the quartz is fused with white granite and the black "banding" I thought would be pretty is just hematite thats grinding off. Some of the quarzts is almost blood red in color (I assume only GA clay could do that). I've got rudilated, rose, peach (so pretty) and clear quartzs and white granite with black granite inclusions. I know this is long but I'm so excited!

Sorry, My computer kept reporting an error and shutting down but I think I fixed it. Anyway, my question on this is , as these elements of different hardnesses are fused and grinding at different rates shound I just tumble in 80 till the ganite is ready or split it up for best results? The red quartz is taking longer, but I don't want to grind off all of the clear.
