Love the green is it glass? Is that gold on the quartz?

It's good to see your are paying attention to the spoils from your panning. A number of RTH members have watched the fools on Gold Rush and similar shows ignore some quality tailings because they have tunnel vision for gold and only gold.
Where are you panning? Some rivers in the US offer up a host of gemstones including rubies, sapphires, aquamarine, tourmaline, etc. Personally, I'd be happy with a quality agate, or jasper.

thanks guys.....not sure about the green, no that's not gold on the end of the quartz..its a red crystal...I wish I could get out and pan in the rivers, im in an apartment so its various unclassified paydirt ive purchased from az, ak, al, co, or, ca...from what I can remember so lol needless to say limited quanity gives me time to save what I wash out and sift through the goodies for a while, NO STONE LEFT BEHIND! =) and yeah it gets to me too looking at all the garnet and goodies they don't appreciate on the gold shows lol
