Cool Jasper's.
I am glad you are happy with the 4th July nodules, looks like you got some good ones.

Great finds, Burris Creek seems quite fruitful. Those nodules are really nice as well.

Those nodules look fun! The white lace makes some very elegant cabs. I've always wanted to try a doublet with thin white lace on top of a black obsidian base to enhance the fine lace patterns.
The nodule with the blue lace beneath the rind is a killer. One for the display case.

I agree with Daryl, white cabs would be perfect for those incredibly detailed bands and the blue and white nodule is a keeper! What a lucky score! I also love the Burris brecciated!

Really nice breccia, never heard of Burris Creek, where is it? That's some really good looking 4th of July material.

Beautiful batch of slabs, some of those agate nodules would look great face polished for display.

Tommy if a great gardener has a green thumb then what do you have? You seem to always come up with something outstanding. Do you have rock radar? Do you water your rocks for several weeks before cutting? There has to be a secret.

Heehee Thanks Tela - if you really want to know - I wear my optivisors everywhere I go look at rocks whether it's at a show or out picking in the wild. People look at me like I'm an alien

Sorry I missed your question Tony - Burris Creek is in Northern CA - Burris Creek and Stony Creek empty into Black Butte reservoir couple of miles from each other. The shores of Black Butte are just LOADED with red and yellow jasper and if you get off into the creeks that feed in you can find the brecciated stuff.
