Sorry everyone! The box is on it's way tomorrow morning to Rob and he should have it in a day or 2. Seems a little ironic.. I keep it for 2 long months when it could have been there within 2 days! I really am sorry.. family circumstances caused it to sit in the corner of our house. I hope you all like my Etsy site however.

I don't think any real harm was done by you keeping the box, (for what seemed like an eternity) just kidding! We have all experienced the "life getting in the way syndrome" at some point, I'm just glad to see you back on the board. Are things getting better? Rob, I'd be happy to start up another "rock in the cache box" to let all of those people that wanted to participate in the last round get their chance in a new round.

Thanks Desertdweller. Etsy is all handmade or supplies so yes, I did make it all but I've been in a creative funk lately.. probably karma for keeping the box for so long.

Geez, I sure wish I would have known that when I passed on the cache box, I would of added some cool beads to the box!

I'm just looking forward to getting that Dremel diamond wheel so I can finish two stalled projects. Those kassel frassers at the local tool place disco'd the only wheels I could get locally that were even close to the original one Jamie gave me and the little 3/4" diamond cutoff wheels simply don't "cut it" for this job.

Got a call from Greyhound this afternoon... THE ROCK BOX HAS ARRIVED! I just happenedd to be in the area when they called me so I had it in hand in less than 10 minutes! Thank you again Tammy for coming through for all of us keeping the rock box spirit alive. Jamie will send you the postage subsidy envelope as well so you don't have to bear the full brunt of the extra weight/fuel surcharges. Thanks also to everyone who has contributed to this round, as it now officially comes to a close. I am ultra busy this weekend vehicle shopping but stay tuned for for more posts from me with pics & details. I barely had time to rifle through the contents but all seems in order so it's looking pretty good. Rob

Hey all! Well, I DID promise that I would restart the travelling rock box program in May and since I recently came into some spare time with an unexpected 3-week holiday (pronounced "lay-off") from my job, I figured now's as good a time as ever. First off, i'd like to now retire this as the official thread for the rock box. I'm creating a new thread for the next round to make it easier to separate the present and past chronicles of the box, so without further adue... * Could one of the forum admin's please unsticky this thread now? *[/size] I'd also like to close with one more heart felt thanks to everyone who has participated in the program so far and kept the spirit of the box alive through rough and tumble as it made it's way around North America from member to member, over and over again, spreading rocky goodness to all who have received it. Despite so many opportunities for disaster to strike, the box has managed to persevere through it all, you guys are the best! Rob
