Hi everyone, So I'm coming at sales with a new tactic, anyone interested in a raffle? Let me know what you think of the idea! I'm now raffling off pendants! The first pendant raffled will be Superior Lake Agate wrapped in round gold filled wire, #189 "Exquisite" Find the raffle here: Zoria's Raffle15 chances at $15.00 each with free shipping! You will be assigned a number based on the order of purchase ie: the first buyer will be #1 and the last will be #15. Once all the chances are purchased the raffle will be done by random.org and winners will be announced on my website and emailed! ***Update*** There has been an update to how Zoria’s raffles will operate. Each raffle will start at the beginning of the month and end at the end of the month, so they could be anywhere from 28-31 days long. Because the first raffle started on March 14th, 2014 the raffle will run for 31 days until April 14th, 2014. For this and all future raffles if all the chances are not purchased you will be given the options of a full refund, a credit good to buy anything in Zoria’s store or towards a custom work, or to have your chances rolled over into the next raffle. Please encourage others to participate as it will help ensure all chances are purchased! Please respond with any questions or concerns and I will do my best to answer them. ***End of Update***

It is a brilliant idea but; I think it is too open ended. Regardless of number of tickets sold, there should be a point at which the raffle would occur. 30 days or something. The risk is people buying tickets can end up with nothing and the raffler could end up getting $15.00 for a $150.00 wrap. Otherwise, I wish I had thought of it first I do have to say that is a geourgous wrap and stone! Good luck with the raffle!

So far it's going pretty well, 3 out of 15 chances sold in 5 days. I thought about a time limit but I'm not that brave, I need to make money, not give things away for next to nothing hence the new sales tactic. I'm hoping that each raffle ends around the 30 day mark or sooner, we'll just have to see

Love the idea! Can I borrow it? I've been trying to figure out a way to drive sales at the new shop I've got some stuff in. The shop is so new that they're not getting much foot traffic yet. I've sold one piece so far and she has sent new customers to the shop but nobody is buying yet

and as you grow clientele you can shorten the sale perios to 2 weeks then one week and double sales and then again.
