All of them are brand new and most still have price tags on them. I over-paid a lump sum for a box of useless crap from a lapidary estate sale and I'm trying to get some of it back - I know what these cost to buy them at today's prices but have no idea what they are worth to someone here or if anyone even uses them I'll take best offer between now and tomorrow (Sunday) morning. If someone feels strongly about just buying the 6" or the 8" stuff make an offer on that instead. Shipping will be added on at $12.35 for a MRFB. If nobody bids I'll probably throw them on ebay. I've got 47 of the 6" as follows: (10) 80 grit (7) 120 grit (11) 220 grit (6) 320 grit (9) 400 grit (4) 600 grit 34 of the 8" as follows: (9) 120 grit (11) 220 grit (9) 400 grit (5) 600 grit There's also (2) 6" rubber pads, (1) 8" rubber pad, and two white suede looking 6" pads.

Whoah, I wish I had seen your post sooner! I've been trying to track down *Exactly* some carbide sanding pads just like these! I can't seem to find them anywhere for some reason. NAPA has them for belt sanders, but not the circular ones like these. You don't happen to have any left do you? Or does anyone know of a "brick-and-mortar" store that carries these? Home "Despot" doesn't have 'em. The only auto parts store I've tried is NAPA, but like I've mentioned they don't carry something quite like these...I've been trying to find something I can use to grind/polish some large-ish, outdoor jade specimens I have. This would be perfect.

@hard Rock Cafe @drummond Island Rocks - Thanks guys for the info! That helps a lot. I didn't think about Kingsley...I used to get my tumbler grit from them and never had any issues, so maybe I'll go through them...I was just hoping to avoid the wait of an online order getting to me, and simply run down to the local hardware store to pick it up right now...I'm very impatient about these things, you see. Oh well. It's not like I don't have enough rocks to start on a different project. Ha ha. Thanks again, guys.

I cut my own from floor sander rolls. You might try a rental place. Do you mean like what they use to strip old finish off of hardwood floors? Those walk-behind machines with big circular pads? Are those made with carbide? Pretty good idea. I used to operate those machines quite often back in the day when I was working as a grunt in residential construction. I don't recall them being made from carbide, but it would makes sense if they were. Chuck, those PSA stick-on pads would be perfect! Thanks again.

Oh, and thanks to Tommy for this thread! I hope I didn't hijack it. It's amazing the inspiration I've gotten from these boards since I've joined.

Chuck, thanks for finding the item on Kingsley! I thought they had to have them.
No, not the big circular ones Washington. These are smaller machines, but yes they are used for removing the finish from hardwood floors. Sort of like electric hand sanders on steroids.

I get mine from the Rock Shed. I don't know if they're listed on the site, but I just call and tell Shawn what I want. I think the price is between two and three dollars.
