My mom told me she was buying me rocks for my birthday and that they were coming early and to go ahead and open them. The box got here today so open it I did. Got 10# of mixed Mexican that'll make good filler for what I've got going now. Got 10# of snowflake obsidian which I've wanted to do for some time now. And got 10# of lakers which has always been one of my favs. What I didn't expect was another goodie.... totally unexpected and very exciting..... It's going to take a while to fill it but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait

Now that's a happy birthday! That's a whole lot of nice rock and a nice tumbler to go with it. Is that Mexican crazy lace? I did a batch of that from the rock shed and it turned out great. Do you have Krystee's obsidian recipe?

Do you have Krystee's obsidian recipe? The mixed Mexican comes from Kingsley North and has some crazy lace. There is also some pudding stone, blue lace agate, and leopard skin jasper. There is another agate with a white rind that runs yellow to lavender and a jasper that is a light brown with some red and dark brown accents, and another jasper that runs purple to reddish with lots of white inclusions. Don't know the names. Thanks for the link to Krystee's recipe. I had been looking for it.
