James I bought the blank and had my KR logo put on it. Fine looking work. It's enough just doing the stone work of course.

The blanks I use are good quality and are razor sharp! I always cut at least 3 slabs of the material that I choose to use because you will break one a lot of the time. It's also hard to get matching slabs so you can make the pattern the same on both sides! My wife says it does not matter but I try and always match them as close as I can.

I use 330 epoxy. I have tried others but I like the 330 I have never had one come off.

That's a sharp knife. I cut myself looking at it.

You just epoxy them to the blank?you don't have to thru-drill them and set with a pin?

Dave I just rough the blank and the back of the scale and epoxy them on. I put the knife in a small rubber griped vice to hold them in place. Just put on one side at a time. When I put the scales on they are just roughed in I finish them on the knife. Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I am no where in the class of Adrian or Ken but I learn a little everytime!

Epoxy is wicked. It will stick rocks to acrylic. Got to sand the acrylic.
