I have a couple of old electric motors, one is 1/4 HP 5.4 amp with a 1725 RPM...If I rewired the cord, greased it up (yes,it runs) would it make a good buffer for polishing rocks..(To fast-to slow???) I'm thinking the other motor is the same on everything, both have grinding wheels on them, look to be from the 50's or 60's... What I like,is both are USA made!

It would run a small arbor or trim saw. Same speed as the Genie so you should be happy.
