I thought I would try a few more. I prefer the aged copper compared to shiny copper but I have had a few people ooh and aah over the shiny copper. I'm pretty sure I will always add the patina though... it seems to complete the piece. The stone is an acrylic bead that had a nice glimmer that I couldn't capture in the photo. Here is the before and after - which do you prefer?? Should I add more patina to any of these? Here are a few more... I had a glass bead kicking around and I thought it might make a nice choice for a ring. It has a wonderful blue/green iridescence to it. I had a smaller round agate cabochon that I set into this one... Last but not least, I set a tiny amethyst crystal in this one. I also braided the ring shank.

That amethyst... Oh my! You've inspired me to try more intricate rings sometime. Truly amazing pieces.

All are very cool. You do a great job on those rings, maybe you need to do a tutorial some time..just a thought. I do prefer the patina. I like copper but the ring looks better with the aged look in my opinion. My favorite is that blue green one but that amethyst is really beautiful too.
