I'm using my 6 pound Lortone rotating tumbler for the first time. I have a mix of rocks that are about Mohs 6 to 7. I didn't have enough to fill 2/3 full as in the directions, so I added fresh ceramic media to make up the 2/3. I started it yesterday, popped the top just now to see how things were progressing, and all I see is a vat of gray whipped cream! Is this the gas build up? Should I let it all go flat before restarting? I'm afraid to let it sit too long, I had a bad experience with my vibrating tumbler where it all turned to basically solid wet cement. I took a couple of rocks out, and they seem to be nicely covered with grit, so I guess that's positive. Anyway, should I be concerned, or just keep popping the top every day to let the gas escape?
