Vintage - Highland Park P-1 20" Slab Saw. Well worn, and needs TLC!! It does run and cuts rock. However! Here's what needs to be done with it. Vise is sloppy and worn... needs new bushings etc.. replaced. The start-up capacitor in the motor in gone... however it still starts if you spin it by hand. Window is cracked. Slide rails need to be re-aligned as it tracks off. Worm gear split nut is worn and lastly - Someone welded a massive tank on the right side of the box. It serves no purpose other than to add an extra 15 gallons of oils. I have it filled with rocks/brick. If it was me, I'd cut it off and re-weld the place... unless one utilized the tank and created a pump style lube system I have used this saw for years and was my main workhorse. I've upgrade to a larger saw, and no longer need this one. Local pick-up only! - Has an 18" blade installed and a brand new 20" to go with it. $1000.00 and located in The Dalles, Oregon

Sounds like you need a road trip! - Better make it worth while and get both saws I have, and I'll throw in some rock to haul back haha ;-) I'm sure you can use a few hundred pounds of obsidian!

If only... I'm close enough to come get it, but broke enough to cry that I can't.
Hope it finds a good home.

Haha! Yeah if I don't sell it... I'm not too worried. I'll rebuild it myself. My main concern for selling is to make room in the garage, and I really don't use it much. I have a 18" and a 24" so the 20" doesn't buy me much lol

The road trip is the easy part, I wish I had the cash, I'd fly out and drive back in a heartbeat!! especially with the prospect of maybe getting some Ob in the deal, even if I had to go dig it myself!!!
