Did some more slabbing yesterday.... Arizona wood Oregon petwood... This one was opalized... My favorite cut of the day... This petwood was found on the "Yellowstone River" in Montana..I liked it just the way it was,but got to wondering what it looked like inside-jackpot after I shaved both sides.. Chocolate brown with light browns and agate running through it..Beautiful wood grains too!! Here is the shaved photo.. Dino bone from central Montana... Found this agate years ago in Montana-look like it was rode hard and put away wet!!!! Looks like a glob of rock from an explosion,or glacier ride!!! I thought it might be petwood, but when I cut it,it looks like agate.. The cut.. Last but not least,I had to cut a fossil too-so cut one of my baculites.....Might make a cool free style cab..

Hey hey Fossilman, you got some nice wood there! I am surprised to say it, but I like your Oregon Pet better than the Arizona, there's just something about a grainy piece that screams for me. That last one is trippy! Thanks for sharing and I'm so jealous of your big saw
