Has anybody used wheels from lapidarytool.com recently? (They are also known as Hans Lapidary Tool).
The reason I ask is that their prices are way cheaper than anybody elses (especially on sintered wheels), and the reviews I have seen are very complimentary of the sintered wheels. The only problem with lapidarytool.com is that shipping is $200 or more for a single sintered wheel, or impossible if ordering multiple wheels.
However... they are now selling on Amazon, with good shipping prices. If those shipping prices are real (I sent an email asking for confirmation), then I think I'll be building a 10 wheeled arbor soon. :-)

Thank you for the notice that Hans is selling on Amazon. If those shipping prices shown on amazon are accurate this is going to be a game changer! Please let us know what you find out? Larry C.

I've confirmed the shipping prices... It's ~$4.49 per item, plus $1.50 per pound. So, still not cheap, but certainly not bad, either.

The $4.99 per item part could run up the shipping costs pretty quick. Two or three years ago I placed a large order with Hans and he really socked it to me on the shipping charges so I never ordered from him again. Larry C.

I did a group order that was about $1200 or so and 25% of the price was shipping, but even at that rate it was a deal. I would stray away from his plated wheels though, the ones I got for the rock clubs lapidary shop didn't last long enough. He also sells on ebay and posts all over Facebook in the lapidary groups

I bought a diamond grinder bit to put grooves in stones and when I place the order the listing was for the bit, the Allen wrench, and a sponge. the order came without the sponge and so I complained and they edited the listing a deleted any mention of the sponge. This tells me they don't have integrity and I will not buy anything else from them.

Yeah, now they also host several FB sales pages that are pretty much 100% scammers or their ads, arguably the same thing. This is an old OP 10 years old, after my earlier comment I started using their diamond belts from my purchase, they were not impressive either. I do buy some chinese made lapidary supplies, but not from Hans.
