I was given great advice on here, and though I still have a long ways to go, the tool marks have diminished mostly- wrapping tape on the pliers has greatly helped so thank you to those who suggested it, and I figured out posting pics too - hopefully they aren't too big Agatized coral wrapped in bronze colored wire and copper Apatite cab wrapped in SS Rough Azurite wrapped in SS Rough Cobaltocalcite wrapped in SS Tumblers are running so as soon as I have something wrap worthy I'll post some of those. Thanks for looking- feedback is certainly welcome. Gene

Oh yeah! I don't think I saw any tool marks. You're doing great! I like the variety and the way each wrap suits the stone.

Thanks rockjunquie!! I noticed some issues with my bindings once I saw the pics, but not bad for having been wrapping for less than a month or so now.

Your swirls look happy.
It's late, I'm anthropomorphizing metal. (But they do look happy!!)

Looking really good. A few tips on here and now you're off and running. Keep up the wrapping. Bindings can be tricky but you get the hang of it. If they have spaces sometimes you can squish them together with flatnosed pliers or use your fingernail to slide the together. I have to do that sometimes myself.
