I really love the piece... you should still give it to your friend - just tell her that you almost kept it for yourself but she is that special you just couldn't do it! Ha ha. How's that for a guilt trip! I'm assuming your friend is a "she", however this piece would be spectacular for a "he" and hung on a black or brown braided leather cord.
