have you never heard what FORD stands for? Both of mine reinforced the principle... FORD. Fix Or Repair Daily! Or is it Found On Road Dead. Until I tore my 67 Mustang apart and completely rebuilt the engine and tranny myself and the undercarriage by a specialty shop, it was just one big problem. Afterwards, it was nice till some lady ran a stop sign and t-boned it into oblivion. And the Maverick was a total waste of money that I sold shortly after buying. im not a ford fan by any means, but it does also stand for First On Race Day.(for all you ford fans)

I have heard that but since I've owned one I am happy with the F150. Mine survived a lot of abuse and was still running strong when I traded it in at... (hah thought I was going to give it away --nit lol). I did have issues with the front ball joints going out almost yearly but hopefully the newer truck is nit going to have that issue. I got a different truck because I intend to tow a trailer and needed a little more power than my old V6 had. Sorry your mustang had an unfortunate end but at least it went quickly and didn't suffer.

I love my big '02 F250, I'm pushing 200K but I don't drive it like you do so I'm going to guess 270000 - First guess.

No exact guesses but a few are in the ballpark. No, not gonna tell you who ;-) Keep guessing and good luck. It's extremely doubtful that anyone is going to get the exact number. I'll settle for close (or "in the ballpark," lol). Not going to change my answer. Would hate to do so, only to find out I was just a few off.
And I wouldn't go too high on the mileage, either. An old Ford with high mileage ain't worth much as a trade in. In fact, Diane probably had to pay them to take it off her hands, lol. Don't get me wrong, I like Fords. Have a 1986 Ranger w/over 305K (will be driving it until it drops, which may be soon!), and my "Big Truck" - 2003 Super Duty FX4 has ~ 74K miles.
I'd guess Diane's old work horse had somewhere between those amounts.

Actually Jean it was somewhere between those two numbers. But as usual you are a bit off...lol. I didn't think it would be worth much on trade either but I didn't have to pay them to take it. They may have upped the price on the one I got to offset the trade but I still got a pretty good deal on it. Yes I agree it is doubtful anyone will guess the exact mileage thats why I put an ending date on the contest and the winner would be the one closest to the mileage...if you had read the original post, Jean ash has been the closest so far and not off by that much. That should make it easier, maybe. I think I'll torture you all a bit longer , I mean give you a chance to guess it.

Okay, Diane, I knew I could get you to spill some more info, lol! Yes, I know I am a bit off... as usual. FYI, I did read the original post, and realize that you have put a time limit on it.
So, let's see. ash has been the closest so far. I think Rob is on the right track, and as I recall, seems that @shotgunner has a way of picking numbers out of his the air. So...
My second guess is going to be 218,776.
Diane, they may very well have charged you more for the new truck (to offset the lack of trade in value, lol), but I think you still got a sweet deal. It's a nice (albeit, now slightly scratched!) truck. Have you done any searching for a trailer to tow yet?

Yeah, you are sneaky but even spilling more info you are still off...lol. Rob, nice try but no.
