The ruling is that it was whoever guessed the mileage won but if noine guessed it exactly then whoever came closest wins. I think the new guess would erase the previous one if the previous one was wrong. Is that clear as mud now? Sorry didn't get in here until now, was working at the local club's Rock and Gem show. Just got done helping to clean up. And now for the moment you've all been waiting for....oops I forgot to write down the mileage...but wait, at least I remembered to take a picture of the odometer before I traded it in. The actual mileage of my truck was 224545 By my calculation tkvancil is the closest with his guess of 224566. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will chime in here and set me straight. Congratulations to Ken. Please pm me your address so I can send you the prize. Thanks to all of you for participating.

I had a lot of fun doing it. Glad you all were such great sports through all of my teasing and enjoyed the contest. Ken, sounds like you should buy a lottery ticket.

Here is a pic of the winning rocks taken wet. Nice stuff and I will enjoy tumbling it. The two pieces of wood, top left, I'll likely keep for specimens. Thanks to Diane (drocknut) for the fun, the contest and the prize.

You're welcome Ken. Some of those pieces may be pigeon blood agate from Floy Wash in Utah and looking at those pieces the wood is mostly likely from Montana along the Yellowstone River. I see a little piece of Arizona Rainbow Petrified wood sticking up below the two pieces you said you are going to keep as specimens. Happy tumbling.
